HomeSmart International Named to 2018 Franchise Business Review

Arizona-based real estate franchisor is ranked among the top 200 franchises across industries.

(Scottsdale) ⎼ HomeSmart International announced that it has been named to Franchise Business Review’s Top Franchise Opportunities for 2018 for overall franchisee satisfaction.

The real estate franchisor is the only transaction fee-based, 100 percent commission model brokerage that made the list of 200.

Every year, the Franchise Business Review surveys franchise owners in order to measure the health of a franchise network. The Franchise Business Review surveyed over 28,000 franchise owners from 307 brands and measured training and support, franchise operation, leadership, core values, franchise community, operator self-assessment, financial performance and general satisfaction.

“We’re honored to have been rated so highly by our own franchise owners,” said HomeSmart International CEO & Founder Matt Widdows. “We’re also excited to gain insights on how much we’ve been able to accomplish in a short amount of time to create such high levels of satisfaction among our network.”

The franchisor credits its high level of franchise engagement to it’s high performing real estate brokerage model, proprietary technology, tools and systems that enhance efficiency and service for their brokers, agents and consumers throughout a real estate transaction.

“It’s remarkable how we received some of our highest marks on topics related to culture,” said HomeSmart International COO Wendy Forysthe. “It’s been a corporate-wide initiative to emphasize culture internally and among our franchise network as an extension of our headquarters. We want the relationship between franchisor and franchisee to be an enjoyable one for all parties, so that we can attain mutual success.”
Forsythe continued to say the collaboration HomeSmart International has with their franchises and the collaboration that happens between franchises is an extension of the culture they’ve built at their main office in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The organization achieved this milestone with its national agent network of more than 14,500 people, 51 franchises and 127 offices strategically located across the nation.

“Amazing service is something our agents strive to provide to their clients and what we champion to our brokerages,” said Widdows. “That philosophy starts with how we resource and support our franchisees, and while we were pleased with our high marks, we’re also dedicated to continuous improvement.”
