CANTA MIA OVERVIEW

CantaMia is located in the master planned community of Estrella in Goodyear.  It is an active adult community designed with baby boomers in mind.  Construction began in 2010 by AV Homes.  There will be 1700 homes with a variety of attached and detached floor plans. The community of Estrella has many other family neighborhoods so all ages can enjoy what this innovative community has to offer.

CantaMia is surrounded by the scenic lakes of Estrella and the focus of the social community is the 30,000 square foot Village Center. The center opened in 2011 and boasts state-of-the-art facilities.  The Village center features a learning center where they regularly hold classes for residents on a variety of topics, a demonstration and teaching kitchen, library, computers, and multi-purpose rooms.  There is also a full time social director.

• Golf Club of Estrella  - 18 hole par 72 course designed by Nicklaus Design, with Jack Nicklaus II as the primary designer. Managed by Troon Golf, the Golf Club of Estrella has earned numerous national distinctions, including one of America’s Best Golf Courses is 2011 by GolfWeek.   The course offers annual memberships, daily play, instruction, restaurant and banquet facilities.
• Tres Rios Golf Course at Estrella Mountain Park: Designed by renowned golf course architect Red Lawrence, this traditional par 71-championship parkland style golf course first opened in 1962 and was totally renovated in 1998.
