The Arizona Lifestyle

The southern Arizona desert provides a wonderful lifestyle. We have friendly, laid-back people, year-round outdoor activities, interesting places to explore, and fabulous weather. We also have very unique communities.

The summer has been mild this year and the monsoon season is starting later than usual. Mornings are cool and perfect for watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee. Our winter visitors have gone north for the summer and the pace of life has slowed with less traffic and fewer lines at the stores. It won't be long before the snowbirds return and we renew our friendships. There will be plenty of dinner parties and BBQs as we enjoy our time together. Southern Arizona offers good job opportunities, nice neighborhoods to raise your family, plenty of shopping and activities, and a great place to retire.

Green Valley
It's no wonder that Green Valley has been rated as one of the best places to retire. If you enjoy golf, check out the many courses we have in Green Valley. Not bad for a community that grows to just 27,000 people during the high season. You'll find thirteen recreation centers with pools, hot tubs, weight rooms, classes, and more. Green Valley is a playground for those of us over 55.

Sahuarita
Sahuarita is a really busy place these days. Families are busy with the upcoming holidays. The school year is in full swing and high school seniors are looking forward to their final semester and graduation. New medical facilities are under construction and will play an important role in Sahuarita's future. Sahuarita is a beautiful city that continues to grow as families seek a high quality of life in a smaller town.

Tucson
A short, twenty minute drive north on I-19 takes you to the southern outskirts of Tucson. With nearly a million people in the greater metropolitan area, Tucson offers the shopping, dining, sports, and cultural activities that complement our quiet lifestyle just south of town. The 4th Avenue Street Fair is coming up again in mid-December. New restaurants seem to be popping up everywhere. Tucson is a great city ... close enough to enjoy yet just far enough away to create our quiet oasis to the south.

Tubac
Just twenty minutes south on I-19 sits the village of Tubac. This art colony features over 100 businesses including galleries, restaurants, specialty stores and a world famous golf resort. Unique homes within a village lifestyle make Tubac a wonderful place to call home. Luminaria Nights is scheduled for early December and makes the holiday season special. The coming months will be filled with outdoor dining, festivals, and strolls through the galleries.

Vail
Vail is a few minutes south of Tucson on I-10 nestled against the Rincon mountains. It's well known for it's school district and rolling hills. Dell Webb offers a fabulous retirement golf community at Rancho Del Lago. Vail is small community that is close to major activities and shopping. It's one of the fastest growing areas in the Tucson area.
