Meet Bobby Lieb

Get to know Bobby!

What is your favorite part of your job?

I really enjoy working with people. Being a Realtor provides many opportunities to meet new people, and build lasting relationships so it’s been a perfect career for me. I also have a lot of fun touring and seeing so many types of homes and home designs throughout the years. The variety of home types in North Central and the Biltmore is really amazing.

What was your most memorable deal?

Being such a baseball fan, I can’t begin to describe how thrilling it was to work with two Hall of Fame athletes on the sale of their homes.

What advice do you wish you could have given to yourself at 25 years old?

I would say to give it your all every day and learn from people. There is so much happening in real estate, you have to be fully engaged to be the best. Also, learning from others and their experiences is a huge advantage so pay attention when people share their insights and stories.

What was the best advice that you received in your life?

It was from my dad. He said it all the time…”at the end of the day, family is the most important thing.”

What's a hidden talent you have?

In college, I played baseball. While my dream to go pro never worked out, I enjoy using the skills I learned through this experience to coach my kids and their friends baseball, soccer, basketball and softball teams over the years. One thing that surprises me though is that I never got used to losing.

If you could have dinner with anyone, living or dead, who would it be?

My mom.  She died at a young age and never met my wife or kids. I would love a chance to tell her all about them.

What's your favorite quote?

“There is always something you have to give up for success. Everything comes at a cost. What are you willing to pay?” by Serena Williams.

What is your favorite vacation destination?

It’s not very exotic, but I love spending time on the beach with my family and friends in San Diego.

What is number one on your bucket list, and why?

My number one item was achieved last year, going to Israel. I guess I need to start a new list!

If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?

Flying, of course!

What is a family tradition that you have, that you are most proud?

Our family holiday dinners are something I really look forward to. Having everyone together is really special to me.
