About Me

I am Denise Fretz, a Native Arizonan, born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona.  I have been in the real estate industry since 1995, specializing in real estate sales in both Scottsdale and the White Mountains of Arizona.  As a team member in corporate environments, I have also participated in well-known, large-scale land development and commercial site development projects in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area.

  • Selected by the Senior Vice-President/GM, Director of Sales, and Controller of Desert Troon Companies to represent the listing and sale of their personal, individually-owned Torreon properties after the Torreon Desert Troon Realty Services office permanently closed in 2007.  

REAL ESTATE RELATED EXPERIENCE:  

Van Tuyl Group, Inc. and Van Tuyl Companies, Inc.:

  • Performed title commitment reviews for multimillion dollar commercial loan closings
  • Participated in the Van Tuyl Group, Inc. interest sale to Berkshire Hathaway Automotive, Inc. (Warren Buffett) of 80 auto dealerships and associated real estate in 10 states, performing real estate cataloguing as well as manufacturer and dealership regulatory agency relicensing activities
  • Performed in-house due diligence, survey reviews, title commitment reviews, and escrow closings for large-scale, multimillion dollar real estate assemblage purchase.  Successfully researched, identified, and transferred historic surface water rights located on the property

David Evans & Associates, Inc.:

  • Commercial Horizontal Site Development Project Coordinator
  • Performed project requirement research, asbuilt research, and submittals for the following notable projects:  CityScape, Sagewood at Desert Ridge, Scottsdale Quarter, Scottsdale W-Hotel, Safari Drive, Downtown Phoenix Sheraton, Westgate City Center, City of Scottsdale Capital Improvements, and the multi-builder-funded 11-mile-long Southeast Buckeye Sewer Interceptor
  • Assisted Senior Associate

DMB Associates, Inc.:

  • Land Development Project Coordinator at Verrado, an 8,000 acre mixed use project
  • Dry utility extension agreement and security deposit coordination, tracking plans and entitlement documents for builder parcel sales
  • Assisted Directors of Marketing, Land Development, Builder Sales, and Community Design as well as performed special projects for the Senior Vice-President/General Manager
