I listed my home for sale with Merrill in April of 08. The market had been in decline for nearly a year, and I was hearing horror stories of homes in my price range sitting for months on end. I needed to sell at a high price, and most of my friends thought the situation hopeless. Merrill began by doing a comprehensive review of the market in my neighborhood. We visited several houses for sale in my price range to determine our competitive advantages and appropriate pricing. He helped me stage my house to look its best, which included a lot of heavy lifting and hauling. He was with me every step of the way through the marketing period, contacting me every day, and taking a personal interest in my case. To my great relief, we started getting offers right away, often two at a time. Merrill was masterful at assessing them and negotiating reasonable counter offers based on sound logical arguments. He is very good at seeing the situation for what it truly is at that moment, and skillfully plays the cards he is dealt. His communication skills are excellent. He was always able to explain the dynamics of the situation to me, and keep the conversation going with my prospective buyers and their agents. Through some very tense moments, he was able to reassure me with sound, honest advice. We were able to accept an offer at the price I had hoped for within 25 days of listing! In that down market, it felt like a miracle. Merrill then confidently and efficiently led the process through escrow and closing. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is a consummate professional, and a kind and caring human being.

Merrill Moss was referred to us by a former client. We had never met him, until our search, in Scottsdale, for a condo began in Febr. 2017. We had not been to Scottsdale for 17 years. Obviously, much had changed. In our first meeting with Merrill we told him what we were looking for.
