After our initial consultation, we turned to Jacqueline to help us find our first-time home!I cannot accurately convey just how helpful Jacqueline was in this process. As a first-time home buyer, we did not know the intricacies of the home buying process or the available stock in San Diego. Jacqueline was incredibly thoughtful and knowledgeable on both key considerations! After describing to Jacqueline what we were looking for and our budget, she was very attentive to keeping an eye on the available stock and sending us homes that were exactly what we were looking for. She also took the time to educate us on these pre-selling dialogues that helped prepare us for ultimately making an offer.After we identified which home we wanted, Jacqueline was incredibly responsive in helping us tour the home and providing her blunt assessment about the home’s condition, whether the listing price was at market value, and the surrounding area. Her counsel at this stage was invaluable and advised us on how to structure our offer. When the seller pushed on certain provisions, she was quick to advocate on our behalf and to get in contact with the seller towards securing an offer that was best for us. This was crucial in the competitive San Diego housing market.Our first offer was below the asking and Jacqueline eventually helped us secure a home at 5% under asking—which was an incredible win for us. Her counsel on an eventual home inspection was also invaluable and recommended a general home inspection, and roof inspection, to make sure that our investment was well protected. We negotiated a fast-closing date and Jacqueline was there every step of the way to ensure that our credit union could make that expedited closing date. Jacqueline was also invaluable in getting additional closing seller concessions and we were able to close the deal in further favorable terms. In the end, we bought a house with a stellar inspection report (both general housing and roof inspection) and that was appraised over 6% of what we closed for. Her help on this was so very much appreciated and we could not recommend Jacqueline enough to help purchase your next home!
