Rancho Bernardo

Welcome to Rancho Bernardoa master planned community 20 miles north-northeast of downtown San Diego, immediately east of 4S Ranch, north of Carmel Mountain Ranch, northwest of the city of Poway, and south of the city of Escondido. 

Located on the north end of the City of San Diego, RB has its own personality, distinct from anywhere else in the county. It is a mere 30-minute drive from downtown and Lindbergh Field. With 7,000 acres tucked in a valley, RB is home to roughly 52,000 residents.

There are also numerous senior living communities for residents seeking assisted living. 

Rancho Bernardo offers something for everyone, with a thriving business park, parks, world-class restaurants, numerous hotels for visitors, and four golf courses in the community. Local favorite destinations include the Oaks North Golf Course, the Rancho Bernardo Inn, and the Bernardo Winery and its village shops. 

Hiking, fishing and biking are all nearby at either Lake Hodges and Lake Poway. Rancho Bernardo is also just minutes away from the world-famous San Diego Safari Park, which allows visitors to enjoy animals from around the world in their natural habitats.

Seven Oaks

Welcome to one of the original communities built in Rancho Bernardo under the master plan.  It's a 55+ community with 1759 individually-owned homes and condos that equally share the generous common areas.

4S Ranch

Poway

Welcome to The City In The Country! Once a tiny city in the middle of farm fields and  orange groves, Poway has grown into one of the largest and most desirable communities in the San Diego area, with its close proximity to downtown San Diego and its beautiful setting in the hills and valleys of North County. Poway's current population is roughly 50,000 (mostly professionals), tucked into 39.2 square miles. The community is known as a center of culture, due to the Poway Center for Performing Arts, located right next door to Poway High School.

 

Escondido

The Spanish word Escondido means ‘hidden’. Established in 1888, Escondido is the largest city in San Diego’s North County. The wide variety of housing, as well as the quaint charm of downtown’s Grand Avenue, renowned arts and entertainment, San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park, and the vibrant business community make Escondido a natural attraction for families seeking a move to Southern California.

 

San Marcos

Eminently affordable and accessible from every direction, San Marcos is a city in the North County region of San Diego County. It's home to roughly 97,000 people, as well as Palomar College and the California State University San Marcos. San Marcos is a VERY desirable place to live, both for its proximity to San Diego, Orange and Riverside Counties, friendly neighborhoods, and easy transportation.

Vista

Picturesque setting, vibrant arts and entertainment, and historical landmarks make Vista, nestled in North County San Diego, a VERY desirable and reasonably-priced place to live.

With easy access off Highway 78 and close proximity to the California Coast and sweeping countryside, as well as a wide variety of available housing, the city of Vista offers more to enjoy than can reasonably be posted to a single web page.

Carlsbad

Coastal Carlsbad is in the North County region of San Diego County, California, United States. The city is a great mid-point between San Diego and Orange (in Orange County) and an easy drive to downtown Los Angeles. Carlsbad is a popular tourist destination, and is home to roughly 115,382 people. It's typically listed among the nation's top 20 wealthiest large cities, and is the 5th richest city in the state of California with a median household income close to $105,000.

Rancho Penasquitos

Here's a suburban community you absolutely DON'T want to miss, in the northeastern part of San Diego, California.

Rancho Peñasquitos is named after the first Mexican land grant in the county, Rancho Santa Maria de Los Peñasquitos. Peñasquitos means "little cliffs" in Spanish. It abuts Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve, an open space preserve that offers hiking, biking, and equestrian trails, and is home to approximately 60,000 people.

Also known as PQ, Rancho Peñasquitos is a great place for hikers and lovers of the outdoors, with canyons, parks, and preserves to suit every taste. The schools are part of the Poway School District, typically considered one of the finest in the country.
