Making people happy! That is my goal when helping clients find a home or list a home for sale. It begins with understanding their needs and listening carefully to what they want or what they expect. At no time do I pressure clients to make quick decisions. And I always explain contracts in detail so people have confidence with their transaction. Patience is important so I make sure that clients will always feel comfortable sharing their likes or dislikes and if they need more time to select a home.
I have lived in San Diego since the 1970s and began my real estate career in 2003. I understand the county, the history, and the communities. While I primarily focus on central San Diego and north county coastal and inland, I have done transactions in the south bay area as well.
A few years ago I completed courses in Interior Design at Mesa College. This education has helped me advise clients about how a home can be remodeled to suit their needs or whether or not a "fixer" is really worth the time and investment. I also can prepare a house for sale by properly staging it to attract the maximum amount of interest and generate the highest sales price. Visit my design web site at https://idbkay.com
Giving back to the community is important to me so I donate my time and service to charitable causes like the San Diego Humane Society of which I am a member on the Philanthropy Committee. I share my home with two cats and two bunnies. Gardening is my passion and welcoming a variety of wildlife to my yard is my joy.
