Howard was born in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating high school in 1971, he moved to Anaheim, Ca; where he married in 1975. In 1976, with his wife, purchased his first house and in 1979 opened a preschool in Ontario, Ca. Howard’s first son was born in 1980 and his second home purchase was made within the same period of time. Between 1983 and 1984 a second preschool opened and in 1985 Howard’s second son was born. In 1986 Howard moved to Upland, Ca; where a third home was purchased. In 2003, when his children were grown and on their own, Howard decided that he wanted to fulfill his dream to live on the beach and purchased a unit in Long Beach, CA; where he presently lives.
Howard has always been self-employed, self-motivated and successful. He attended Fullerton College, Chaffey College, Mt. San Antonio College and Cal Poly Pomona. Studies included furniture design and building, accounting, business law, computer-aided-drafting, art and Real Estate. He has built his own furniture and still has the bedroom sets he made for him and his family. In the 90’s, Howard designed kitchens and bathrooms for several large home builders; Lennar Homes, Kaufman & Broad Homes, Anastasia…to name a few. During this time he also opened and operated a vending machine company. In 1998 Howard started his appraisal apprenticeship and then became State Certified as an Appraiser and eventually expanded his Real Estate experience as a State Licensed Realtor.
Recently, Howard’s two boys have become fathers. Howard is now a proud grandfather of a beautiful girl and boy. He sincerely believes that what comes around goes around and he treats everyone in a way that he’d want is children and grandchildren to be treated. That is with honesty, sincerity and integrity!
