We had been looking at houses independently for a couple of months, mostly getting an idea of what would fit our needs, wants, and budget. It was our intent to wait until perhaps May or June to actually purchase a home. One Monday we saw a house that checked all of the boxes, and did not want to miss out on it. We didn't have an agent, and I received a recommendation from a third party to seek Kay out. I sent her a message through Yelp in the evening, and within 15 minutes had a response. She took the time to listen, provided information on houses that we held interest in the past, and had provided information on the house we were interested in. She encouraged us to set up a time to see the house in person sooner, rather than later. It was a good thing she did! We did a walk through, and decided it was the house for us. The offer was placed, negotiations were in process when a second offer came in. She didn't steer us wrong! Our offer was accepted, with all questions answered in a timely fashion. We had no agent on Monday, by Thursday we had an accepted offer. I might have been overwhelmed with the amount of things that needed to be done in the next couple of weeks, with Christmas and New Years on the horizon, but Kay's attention to detail, and handholding made the process simple and easy to understand. She even took the time to sit down with us and discuss the appraisal. A month after acquiring her as our agent we closed on our house today. As our buyer's agent Kay has been absolutely spot on. She did an amazing job of making us feel like we were her only clients. She provided sound advice, prompt response, and made the process move fluidly.
