Kat Oestreich, ABR,SFR,REALTOR® is a REALTOR® who combines her love for the industry with her passion for education.  Before getting into the real estate business in May 2004, Kat worked over 20 years for a non-profit organization where she had many roles including managing several departments such as customer service, data entry, quality control and training of new computer systems.  She's an active agent with HomeSmart Realty Group, which formerly had merged from Cherry Creek Properties.  Kat had previously managed and mentored her team in Parker, CO and was also former President of Douglas & Elbert Counties Realtors Association.  She continues to represent buyers and sellers on a day-to-day basis, and considers education – both clients and other real estate agents – an important part of her role as a REALTOR®.  Kat is active with the local Board of REALTORS®, Colorado Association of Realtors and the National Association of REALTORS®.  A lover of all things in Colorado, Kat believes in giving back to the community and has been active in a variety of civic and neighborhood organizations.  Kat lives in rural Elizabeth, CO with her sweetie Bob, their chickens, 2 sugar gliders, and 2 barn cats.  She loves to partake as much as possible of life, but especially enjoys being in the country, outdoors, listening to music, concerts, dancing, traveling, hiking, reading, and researching.
