Live in COLORADO

All cities in Colorado display elevation above sea level, not population.  Denver, the capital of Colorado, is known as the mile-hi city at 5280 ft. (1609.344 m) above sea level.  The Rocky Mountains snake through the state, and the Front Range is viewed up and down the Northern Corrider.  There are 53 "14ers", peaks above 14,000 ft., as well as trails in virtually every city.  The Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) is a premier vacation spot, and 42 state parks dot the state.  Many ski resorts are within a few hours of Denver.

Northern Colorado is generally referred to as the corrider north of Denver.  It is just a short “hike” back to Denver, west to the Rocky Mountains, or north to Wyoming.
