NORTHERN COLORADO

Communities in the Northern Corrider range from large to small towns, as well as land, and vacation homes.  Northern Colorado is generally referred to as the corrider north of Denver.  It is just a short “hike” back to Denver, west to the Rocky Mountains, or north to Wyoming.  While Denver is known as the mile-hi city at 5280 ft. (1609.344 m) above sea level, all cities in Colorado display elevation above sea level, not population.  The Rocky Mountains snake through the state, and the Front Range is viewed up and down the Northern Corrider.  There are 53 “14ers”, peaks above 14,000 ft., as well as trails in virtually every city.  The Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) is a premier vacation spot, and 42 state parks dot the state.  Many ski resorts are within a couple of hours of Denver.
