Real estate is as much about the aesthetic experience as it is about the home mortgage or the price your property. I fully believe that your home is your sanctuary. Home is where you recharge, create memories, and develop your most personal relationships. How the home and location make you feel when opening the door, the ergonomics, layout and size of the rooms, patio and kitchen, as well as the curb appeal, lot size, sloping, and location of the property on the block are truly elemental aspects to the experience of the enjoyment of home ownership. Just as how we furnish and paint a property creates the level of comfort and luxury in everyday living, so staging, selecting the best paint colors and finishes are to getting your property sold to the right buyer (when that time arrives). I am able to help you look at your home through the eyes of the buyer and provide an accurate insight into how they will feel when stepping in and looking at the listing when it’s being shown. We’ve all heard many times over that first impressions are so important… When a buyer walks into your property, we want them to have an immediate sense of picturing themselves living in the home and making it their own, otherwise known as the wow factor. These aesthetic aspects are paramount to receiving timely, and hopefully multiple offers at the highest price and with the most desirable terms for you, the seller. There is a saying in real estate that goes something like this: There are three main things that sell a home- price, location and condition. Generally we can only change two of those things, price and condition. You can count on my expertise, experience, and intuition to greatly assist in obtaining the best possible terms and price for you both in buying and selling your home.

 

SCIENCE (a department of systematized knowledge as an object of study)

Following earning a Bachelor degree in political science (with a minor in Philosophy) from Colorado State University, I obtained a Master of Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver in 2001, gaining a high level of educational expertise in investment, property appraisal and lending/financing. I decided to pursue a career in the corporate world as a Real Estate Analyst for the Regal Movie and Entertainment Group, sharpening my skills in proposals, commercial development-contracts, and site selection as well as commercial fixtures/equipment in relation to retail real estate. Following my corporate career, I worked in residential property financing investment and mortgage lending for almost a decade, learning first-hand about all conventional and government loan financing scenarios, creative financing and contracts. During that time I also held my real estate license, and practiced residential real estate sales on a part time basis. I decided to pursue a full-time career in residential real estate as a REALTOR, as I had discovered that my favorite and most satisfying experiences in the industry were working directly with clients, and especially negotiating on their behalf- having gained both financing experience and expertise with contracts. This also includes new build homes, in which case there is no cost to you for this service. I am humbled to been independently selected as 5280 magazine 5 star agent for the fifth year running, an honor that only 1% of agents in Colorado hold, and have earned a five star rating from my clients on Zillow.
