The first home I ever owned was a townhome. It had a yellow elevator with blue and orange furniture which were offset by pink curtains. It was dramatic and glamorous. Lots of entertaining and kissing happened in this house. The Barbie Dream House was my introduction into Real Estate. My fantasy days of Ken and Barbie's homelife were short lived.
They did pave my interest in architecture and design, though. Eventually, I became a Realtor after a detour through remodeling homes. The creative skills I learned help me assist my Buyers realize potential as well as prioritize projects and source materials, contractors, etc. I dig into this tool kit when assisting Sellers in showcasing their home to maximize their return on investment.
