Ms Powell is an extraordinary person as well as a superb real estate agent. She represented me in the sale of an older residential property but her processes and knowledge will also work well for buyers. She knew the type and expectations of potential buyers for the property as well as having comprehensive knowledge about competing properties. She used this knowledge to discuss how best to position my property to the pool of potential buyers. In the recent past, many of the properties in my neighborhood had been sold, comprehensively renovated then sold again and sometimes again. My options, she said was to spend a lot, $35, 40K, spend nothing or spend something in the middle. Each option results in different asking and sales price as well as the number of potential buyers. She had a list of must do's putting us in the middle with good net dollars and less risk than "spend a lot". Once work was done and contract signed; showings started. Ms Powell provided continuous market information about comments made by prospects and agents who had been on site; detailed information about the sale and new listings of competing properties as well as other issues pertinent to the health of our marketing effort. Ms Powell's knowledge and work ethic greatly exceeded my expectations. That she's competent, personable, a good listener, and easy to work with are additional pluses.
