Mukilteo is (MUK-al-TEE-oh) a city in Snohomish County, in Washington State. It is located on Puget Sound between Edmonds and Everett, approximately 25 miles (40 km) north of Seattle. The city has an estimated 2019 population of 21,441.
Mukilteo is a bedroom community with a small job base centered around manufacturing industries, as well as Boeing a few minutes north. It is also a major transportation hub, with connections to Whidbey Island via the Washington State Ferries system, Sounder commuter trains to Seattle, and public transit services to nearby cities. Paine Field opened up to commericial in 2019, and is super covenient. Distinations include Anchorage, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Orange County, Palm Springs, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco and Tucson.
Mukilteo is recognized for its quality of life and is one of the most affluent in Washington state, with a high median income. However, Mukilteo has many housing types including affordable condos and townhomes. Many homes in Mukilteo are known for their views of the Puget Sound and unique architecture. Mukilteo is also home to one of the premier golf courses in the region (see below).

It is a truly an honor to collaborate with both home sellers and buyers in Mukilteo. I'll discuss some of the housing options and neighborhoods around Mukilteo, and also go over the locals schools and colleges, favorite restaurants, coffee houses, lodging, things to do and other points of interest. This is intended as a resource guide for new comers, visitors, home buyers and renters.
NEIGHBORHOODS
Old Town Mukilteo
Old Town Mukilteo is located at the north end of the city, between Port Gardner Bay and 5th Street (Mukilteo Boulevard). The city's landmark lighthouse is located on Point Elliott at the northwest corner of Old Town, adjacent to the new Washington State Ferries terminal and commuter train station. Old Town has a great vibe with Mukilteo Chocolate Company and Red Cup Cafe, and many outstanding restautrants (see below). Rosehill Community Center is in a picturesque setting and a unique venue for weddings, graduations, meetings, and concerts performed by the Mukilteo Community Orchestra.
Harbour Pointe
Harbour Pointe, one of the largest communities in Mukilteo, luxury high end and more affordable neighborhoods, with two mixed use areas of botique businesses. Harbour Pointe is located at the south end of Mukilteo and is achored by the Harbour Pointe Golf Club right in the center. Mukiteo Library is also located on Harbour Pointe.

One Club House Lane
Homes in One Club House Lane are built around the Harbour Pointe Golf Course in Mukilteo. Many homes have sweeping views of Puget Sound, the Olympics, Whidbey Island and the golf course. Two private parks, and private trail network.
Chennault Beach
Chennault Beach is a peaceful and friendly neighborhood in Mukilteo is known for its beautiful views and clean surroundings. It's a family-friendly community that residents love for its safety and quiet atmosphere.

OLD TOWN / MUKILTEO LIGHTHOUSE PARK
Rosehill Community Center
The Rosehill Community Center is a beautiful 29,000 sq/ft building with sweeping views of Possession Sound, the Mukilteo Ferry, and Lighthouse Park. The Mukilteo Recreation Department offers a variety of programs to the community including dance, fitness, art, music, and enrichment for all ages. Programs offered take place in its classrooms, dance room, art room and large multi-purpose room. Rose Hill Community Center is picturesque venue for weddings, graduations and concerts performed by the Mukilteo Community Orchestra.

Mukilteo Lighthouse
First lit in 1906, the 38-foot tall Mukilteo Lighthouse is still in operation, helping not just ferries, but all the boats that ply the Salish Sea. The lighthouse and a modern fog signal were automated in 1979, and in 1981, a remote fog sensor was installed. Mukilteo Lighthouse is open April through September from noon until 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

Boeing Plant in Everett/Mukilteo
This facility is the largest building on Earth and is truly spetacular, producing the 747, 767, 777, and the 787 airplanes. More than 30,000 people work at the plant, which has its own fire department, security team, day care center and fitness center.
Mukilteo Shipwreck - Shipwreck Point
It's best accessed by kayak or from Picnic Point Park. The area where the ship lies is on private property. Look, but do not approach.
