Dan-Vy was overall a pleasure to work with! We initially were working with a different realtor, but they kept going over our budget and seemed to come off as "pushy" when it came to sending us listings. We took a little break from house hunting, then went with Dan-Vy through a family referral. She outlined our wants and needs list and we gave her a good idea of what kind of house we wanted to buy. She looked through most of the listings and got rid of the ones we knew we would say no to right away, so that was a time-saver! Dan-Vy is awesome to work with. I met Dan-Vy through soccer before I ever considered buying a home. She wasnt trying to earn my business, we were simpy talking about why we love our jobs. She said she loved helping people: she recently helped a woman who had immigrated here and that she fought like hell to get her a home, (in the midst of the immigration ban) and to close on the deal was so satisfying. It wasn't about the money for Dan-Vy. Later, she spent 45 minutes on the phone with me educating me about how to wisely buy a particular condo (a condo which she would not earn a commision on)... and her way of explaining things was just on my level: clear and concise and non-judgemental. I looked around at other places on Estately and fell in love with a condo I thought I could never get, but she encouraged me to check it out, connected me with a motherly and trustworthy mortgage lender, and we ended up making a reasonable offer that cancelled the open house. After that, she sent me a time line and check list that showed me what to expect before closing. Dan-Vy has been very responsive and has held my hand through what ended up being a very smooth process. She also donates a portion of her commission to charity. I definitely recommend her.
