I live in Tempe and therefore call it my primary area of business. I can go on for hours about all the great amenities of Tempe and why it's the best in the valley. However, I help buyers and sellers all across the east valley through central Phoenix.

Tempe is a large college town within a larger metropolitan city. The area is landlocked and therefore must emphasize the highest and best land use. It is home to Arizona State University and 40K+ students 9 months of the year. The energy is youthful and forward thinking, guided by generations of alumni who stayed and made Tempe their permanent home.

There is an emphasis on green living, alternative transportation, diversity, TED/STEM, recreation and community partnerships in Tempe. Tempe is executing an aggressive plan for affordable housing projects. It's the best IMO!

Shop Arcadia Homes >>

Certainly one of the most sought-after areas of Phoenix-Scottsdale, Arcadia is specifically defined geographically below.

- North of Thomas

- South of Camelback

- East of 44th St

- West of 68th St

Realtors like to refer to all homes near this rectangle as "Arcadia" and frankly, that is okay with me. It doesn't hurt to point out the proximity to Arcadia. I always confirm and inform my clients when we are really talking about a home that meets the Arcadia location criteria. Living near Arcadia is good too. At the southern base of Camelback Mountain, Arcadia is a lush flood-irrigated suburb with large ranch-style homes and pretty streetscapes.
