Hibachibot food truck

Hibachibot is a food truck that specializes in Korean BBQ. For the those who might not be familiar, bulgogi is thinly sliced meat (beef or chicken) marinated in a flavorful Asian blend of soy, garlic, ginger and sesame. The meat is then grilled on a barbecue or stove top griddle. Hibachibot serves the bulgogi either in delicious Asian-style tacos or rice bowls, with daikon slaw, chives, cilantro, sesame seeds and sriracha mayo. The truck also serves sides of smothered fries which they serve “torched”, and vegan options including toe fries which is tofu that designed to taste like chicken, twice breaded and deep fried. The couple that own the food truck have leased the property on the corner of the Cave Creek Road and Spur Cross Road that has housed a handful of business’ over the past couple of decades, including several restaurants and most recently a gallery. The couple intend to keep the building an art gallery but add a prep kitchen, and use the outdoor area for their food truck and other popular Valley food trucks that will make occasional guest appearances. Hibachibot is open 11-8 pm daily, reach them on Facebook or at Hibachibot.com
