I have personally known Belinda for close to 2 years now. The second you meet this extraordinary woman you feel a sense of calm. The softness in her tone, the way she listens to you and reflects on her experiences to form a meaningful reply is truly a lost art. In my field of work, I meet all sorts of individuals and I have never come across anyone quite like her. Belinda is accepting of everyone she meets. I did witness Belinda in her work environment once. Belinda organized a “giving tree” for the residents in her community. The residents wrote out their holiday wish list items and Belinda helped those wishes come true by reaching out to family(ies), friends, surrounding community members for support/donations. I am writing this letter on behalf of Belinda Godin. My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend Belinda for any position she seeks, especially as it pertains to seniors and senior living communities. We first met Belinda in January 2022, at a time in our lives where we were upset, confused, and feeling completely helpless and hopeless. My mother-in-law was near death, and we had never experienced anything like this before. I truly believe that God sent Belinda to us as she was such a blessing from the minute we spoke with her. She was extremely caring, loving, thoughtful, compassionate, knowledgeable, calm, reassuring and so helpful about what steps needed to be done to help our mother. My husband and I both felt such peace and reassurance as we sat with Belinda in her office and listened to and shared our situation with her. She has such a beautiful spirit and personality and we felt so much better after talking with her. We decided to place our mother in memory care as she needed so much help. Belinda found us a room, worked with us on the price (as much as she was allowed), walked us patiently through each piece of the extensive paperwork, called us back when she said she would (BIG DEAL!!!), answered every text and call and just made us feel at peace with our decision. She compassionately shared her story about her family situation so we really felt she could 100% relate to where we were coming from. Our mother Sandy immediately took a liking to Belinda and truly misses her and still talks about how sorry she is that Belinda isn’t at her facility anymore. We were so impressed with how Belinda greeted every resident she saw, touched their hands, smiled at them, and truly cared how each resident was doing that day. Belinda planned monthly seminars and talks for the residents and their family members. She was instrumental in bringing companies and people into the senior living community that would in some way benefit the residents and their families. Belinda facilitated an incredibly useful seminar on dementia. I even invited my parents, which Belinda encouraged, and they found it tremendously helpful! We were able to meet two ladies from an organization that now provide transportation for our mother to get to and from appointments! What a wonderful blessing to us as we live four hours from mom, and it would be quite a challenge for us to take her to every appointment! I’m certain that we would not have discovered this organization had it not been for Belinda’s great resourcefulness! She seemed to think of everything!!!! Belinda Godin would be nothing but a TREMENDOUS ASSET to your company/organization. Your organization would be incredibly blessed for the opportunity to call Belinda one of your team members!
