Signal Hill

Signal Hill Is an enclave completly surrounded by the city of Long Beach. The hill that the city is named after is 365 feet (110 m) above the surrounding town of Long Beach. Because of this height, it was used as a lookout and signal for fires in the surrounding areas. At the top of the hill, you can see many surrounding areas, including Long Beach, Palos Verdes and even out as far as Catalina Island. 

Long Beach

Long Beach is a city in Los Angeles County, incorporated in 1897. It is home to the Port of Long Beach, the second busiest container port in the United States, and amongst the worlds largest shipping ports. 

The city is known for its waterfront attractions, including the permanently docked Queen Mary, Aquarium of the Pacific, Grand Prix, Cal State Long Beach and more.
