Moving is one of those Herculean tasks that you face with excitement and dread. We could not have managed our last move without Bruce Miller. I had known Bruce from facebook because we both taught in Jeffco, but even so I was nervous about contacting him and starting the process. Right away the first day we met Bruce he had many solutions to our problems. He walked us through our house and gave us honest, positive feedback on what we needed to do to get it ready. Bruce has very personable and easy to talk to as well as professional and honest. He had people to help us at his finger tips and also respected the fact that we wanted to save money and do some of the work ourselves. Bruce has managed several of his own properties so he knew exactly how to help us present our house and yard in the right way. He took me and my husband house hunting separately a few weeks before we were ready so he could really listen to us and find out what was going to be right for our family. He found us three lenders and negotiated with them to get us the best deal. Bruce is part teacher/ part cheerleader/ and part project manager. The entire time we were working with Bruce we was positive, solution oriented and helpful. It was such a blessing to work with someone who was 100% on our side and was really knowledgeable about the process. One piece of great advice Bruce gave us was to put the house on the market and then leave town for the open house. We left Friday night to enjoy some relaxation time and by Monday we had an offer on the house! Bruce helped with all the negotiations letting us know what was reasonable. That Thursday we went out to look at houses more seriously. By this time Bruce knew exactly what we wanted and we found two perfect houses. By Friday, he had helped us through the decision process and we were under contract! Even after that, Bruce was there for inspections and appraisals, walking us through re-negotiations on two properties and helping keep me calm during the loan paperwork. Throughout the entire three month process, Bruce was there whenever I needed him, helping us with contracts, going out at weird hours, explaining the ins and outs of the system, and being there with a helping hand. If you are thinking about buying or selling, Bruce is the person to talk to. I would never move again without him.
