I love Placitas!!

I love the sense of community we have here. We have a great little senior center, a beautiful library, a little shopping area with locally owned businesses like The Merc, Blades Bisro, The Placitas Cafe, Placitas Del Salon, and more. People are helpful and kind--many are very active on the app Next Door too.  

One of the best things about Placitas is that most home sites have VIEWS! Views of the high desert landscape, the mesas out on the reservation lands, the Sandias, and the most amazing sunsets and clouds. Many lots have multiple views to enjoy as the light of the day and the weather changes.  

Lots are generous here with a minimum of 3/4 acre. Many are 1-2 acres. Some areas are flat, some are hilly, some have paved roads, some have graded roads. Most communities here have community water service. All are on septic. Those homes closer to main roads will have natural gas while more remote lots will have propane. Most areas have buried electrical lines to keep the views pristine.
