Charles has been a candidate for the Florida State House of Representatives and North Carolina State House of Representative, and has been an active community member in appointed committees throughout Miami-Dade County.
Charles also started a community non-profit, managed the marketing of an established business, directed the Human Resources department of a multi-million dollar company, trained volunteers of a local American Red Cross, and still thrives in being an engaged husband and parent of three children.
