Victorville, California — HomeSmart, a comprehensive real estate brokerage company operating across the United States, is opening its first location in Southern California’s High Desert region, an area less than 25 miles north of San Bernardino.

HomeSmart Key Realty continues the company’s steady growth throughout the United States. In January, HomeSmart expanded its agent count by nearly 4,000 with its acquisition of Georgia-based brokerage, Solid Source Real Estate Companies.

Managing broker Paul Pound and managing partner Cynthia Vanover plan on growing to 50 agents working out of the office located at 16044 Bear Valley Rd. in Victorville within the first six months of business. Their goal is to grow even more by doubling their agent count by the end of their first year. 

“HomeSmart’s 100% commission platform hasn’t been offered in the High Desert region in California. We are excited to be the first to present this platform to several thousand agents who call the High Desert home,” says Pound, a 31-year veteran of the real estate industry.

Pound began his work in the real estate industry as a loan originator in 1988 before moving on to owning a Coldwell Banker franchise in San Bernardino. During that time he opened a Department of Corporations Escrow company and mortgage brokerage giving him exceptional knowledge in areas such as loan originations, escrow and residential real estate. With this experience, Paul will bring his relentless work ethic and unmatched dedication to the community’s real estate needs alongside Vanover.
