Owner Rick Musto and Broker Agnes Stergion expand their footprint in Northwestern Florida
Pensacola, FL — HomeSmart Sunshine Realty recently acquired local brokerage Coastal Realty Experts, adding nearly 100 agents and an additional office in Pensacola to its network. This office extends their footprint into Northwest Florida.
HomeSmart Sunshine Realty opened in January 2020 and had seven agents prior to the recent acquisition. The transaction-based brokerage now has more than 100 agents including John Avritt, the previous owner of Coastal Realty Experts who will be staying onboard with HomeSmart Sunshine Realty.
“Currently, our franchise area covers the western edge of the panhandle,” said Rick Musto, owner of HomeSmart Sunshine Realty. “It’s a goal of ours to continue expanding until we’ve claimed the market for the entire Florida panhandle.”
Like HomeSmart Sunshine Realty, Coastal Realty Experts also followed a transaction-based brokerage model. Agents joining HomeSmart Sunshine Realty from the previous owner will have the ability to maintain a similar low fee commission structure. Being backed by a much bigger, nationally recognized brokerage company, agents will also receive all the benefits that come with the HomeSmart franchise like free resources, tools, proprietary technology, and training.

HomeSmart Sunshine Realty will continue to use its original office at 6706 N 9th Avenue #B-6, Pensacola, FL 32504 as a learning center where agents can attend free training and continued education classes.
All other real estate business will be conducted in the new office, located at 305 W Gregory Street, Pensacola, Florida 32502.
