Neil moved with his family from Deerfield, Illinois to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1976 when he was 14 years old. Neil graduated from Paradise Valley High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a Yeoman, where he was deployed overseas onboard the USS Coral Sea, and then the USS Constellation. While in the Navy, Neil met his wife of 29 years Emily, who was a single mother of 2 children, Christopher and Kari.
At the conclusion of Neil’s last deployment, he moved his family back to Arizona, and immediately went to work for Kelly Temporary Services handling various administrative assignments around the Valley. In addition to this job, Neil would supplement his earnings as a DJ for weddings, corporate parties, etc.
In 1987 Neil landed a job with Xerox Corporation as a Receptionist and in six years, worked his way up the ladder into Sales, where he successfully developed new business accounts.
In 1993 Neil decided to make a big change, and pursued a career in the Resort business, and accepted a position as a National Sales Manager for the Scottsdale Plaza Resort. Neil specialized in the Medical/Pharmaceutical market segments, developing and executing marketing programs that resulted in large-scale product launches, and multi-year annual meeting contracts, consistently generating sales revenues at multi-million dollar levels. From 1993 – 2001 Neil consistently ranked in the Top 1% in production.
The terrorists attacks of 9/11 ushered in the collapse of the Resort/Hotel business, which caused Neil to re-assess the direction of his life and career. He quickly realized that he needed to make a quick change, or potentially lose everything. It was at that point, that Real Estate came into the picture.
In 2001 Neil went back to school, and obtained his Real Estate license, and accepted a position with Century 21. From 2003 – 2009 Neil earned Century 21′s Top Production award and was ranked #1 out of 560 Century 21 Agents in the Valley, and ranked in the Top 1% Nationally.
In 2010, Neil left Century 21 for the largest privately-owned Real Estate company in the Southwest called HomeSmart. Neil hit the ground running, and in his first year at HomeSmart he was ranked #5 out of 4,200 Agents, and in 2012 moved up to the #2 slot as the company grew to over 6,000 Agents. Neil currently manages a team of 5 senior Real Estate agents, who handle Buyer’s referred from the Nation’s largest VA Lender, which was an account developed by Neil. Neil also is the Agent of Record for corporations like PayPal, General Dynamics and eBay. Neil believes that each and every client deserves respect, dedication and determination whether they’re a first time home-buyer, or seasoned executive.
In his free time, Neil loves to climb the various mountains in and around the Valley, hang out with his family and hot yoga
