My real estate focus and experience includes the sale and broker oversight of transactions involving wineries, vineyards, vineyard estates, residential properties, coastal and luxury properties, distressed properties, country estates, ranches, raw land, and commercial properties.

I came to HomeSmart with years of experience in the real estate industry, including the ownership and business development of three real estate brokerages in Scottsdale, Arizona - a residential brokerage (in which I was also the Designated Broker overseeing forty-five agents), a commercial real estate brokerage, and a property management brokerage. This follows two years working with Bergman Euro-National specializing in wine country and luxury properties in northern California. I continue to hold my license as an Associate Broker in Phoenix with the Southwest's largest residential real estate firm. Devoted to a client's success, I seek flawless performance and the promise of profitability.

I earned my wine business MBA at Sonoma State University and I am currently completing my enology/viticulture degree. My research paper, “The Impact of Climate Change on the Wine Industry: Challenges and Solutions,” has been published within the prestigious peer-reviewed journal, Wine Economics and Policy, this past fall 2014. I recently published my book, “Where the Air is Wine: A Case Study of Sonoma County Wine Tourism,” as well.

I am a former commercial/residential irrigation and landscape contractor with twenty-three years of experience. Additionally, I have worked with several wineries over the past few years in production, marketing, operations, and hospitality so as to better advise my clients seeking operations within or a move to the wine country.

In my "first life," I was an award-winning high school teacher of world history, geography and culture. Continuously selected as our students' "Best Teacher," I was honored by the prestigious Flynn Scholarship in Arizona in 1989.
