About Me

Biography – Laurie Kirby – License #01803990

You are taking some of the first steps to homeownership and there’s nothing like it!  I would like be the Agent that helps make your homeownership dream a reality.  I will be with you every step of the way to ensure you understand everything that is going on during the process.   My motto is: Integrity: Live up to commitment, do the right thing regardless of risk or reward. Customer Satisfaction: Build and maintain relationships and trust with my customers.  My customers are my number one priority!

A Little Bit About Myself:

When I was young, my family moved a lot!  The longest we ever lived anywhere was on our farm in Kentucky for 6 years.  It was 170 acres of beauty with hidden caves, trees, pasterland, a creek, pond and fertile ground.  It was never a dull moment living on a farm. It was hard work but also it was a wonderful place that held a child’s wild imagination captive.

Fast forward about 10 years and now I’m an adult living in California just starting a career with McDonnell Douglas, which later became The Boeing Company.  I worked at Boeing for 23+ years gaining invaluable experience working with a variety of customers, learning what it meant for “customer satisfaction” and first-time quality in all you do.

I think moving a lot as a child, made the words “having roots” and owning my own home even more important to me.  Over the years, I had always loved going to open houses, see how other people decorated or seeing a house that was neglected and “picturing” it in my mind what it “could” look like.  To me, that was exciting!  I decided to get my Real Estate License and pursue real estate in 2006.  It’s been an exciting adventure meeting new people every day, hearing their dreams of owning a home and more importantly, helping them to make those dreams come true!
